A baby pig named Poppy Lee,
Lived near a stump beneath a tree.
He had no toys, no fancy bed,
Just cozy straw beneath his shed.
He oinked alone most every day,
While others ran around to play.
But one bright morn, a duck came near,
With waddling feet and a joyful cheer!
"Hello!" said Duck, "Let’s jump and run,
We'll find a pond and have some fun!"
They laughed and splashed and played till night,
Their little hearts so full and light.
Though Poppy's things were old and few,
He had a friend, so kind and true.
And in the end, that’s what counts best—
A loving heart and friend to rest.
